I just read on contactmusic.com, that Rod Stewart is giving fans an early Christmas treat by releasing a festive charity single. Rod’s holiday album Merry Christmas, Baby is already a big hit around the globe and now he’s moving up the holiday charts. .
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas was released on December 9th, with a portion of the proceeds will go towards the Teenage Cancer Trust, an organisation supported by the star’s favourite Scottish soccer team Celtic’s charity fund.
Stewart says, “I live a blessed and wonderful life and this Christmas it means a lot to me to be able to do something that can help young people with cancer.

Roger Daltrey, patron of the charity, adds: “I’ve worked with Teenage Cancer Trust for years and it’s a cause I’m really passionate about – they do incredibly important work helping young people with cancer.
